Day 6 – in Prague

No traveling today, because I am ahead of the planned route.

So let’s discover some parts of the center of this nice town , that I did not see earlier. I first wanted to see the palace of Troja. I was there at 10:00 am, but it was closed as I arrived. Every day of the week it opens at that time, there is only one exception: Friday: It will open on 1:00 pm.

Then I took the repaired ferry and cycle to the Prague castle. In the neighborhood the roads were blocked with iron tank obstacles and all visitors had to pass a security check. I made a big loop around it to the west exit. From there is a nice view over the city.

And over a park with a mini Eifel tower, the Petrinska rozhledna. I cycled to the entrance and had nice views to the castle and cathedral.

In the evening I had a cold beer near the river Moldau / Vltava.
